Amazon’s Customer Trust & Partner Support (CTPS) is looking for a software development Engineers in Compliance Tech. We build automated solutions to protect the Amazon bottom line by preventing the bad guys like fraudsters, identity thieves and such elements from entering our front door. It is becoming much more important globally to prevent identity theft, financial fraud, money laundering and terrorist financing. Our team is building best in class, scalable search algorithms and services that uses cutting edge technologies to solve Sanctions problems by leveraging both external vendors and Amazon’s internal investigation tools. Join our team to build services for protecting Amazon and its customers by keeping unwanted activities and bad actors off Amazon’s platform and marketplace.

Job Responsibilities:

You will be an integral part of an exceptionally talented team. You will be responsible for design, development, test, and deployment of a range of tools and systems. You will collaborate with other senior software engineers to drive improvements to our technology, design and develop new services and solutions, and build and track metrics to ensure high quality results. You will have the opportunity to work with business partners and leadership, influence and drive product vision and lead the design of our systems.

Job Requirements:

• Proficiency in object-oriented design
• Strong coding ability using Java
• Strong problem solving and analytical abilities.
• Understanding of Software Engineering processes and best practices.

Qualification & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field or equivalent experience
• Knowledge in data structures, algorithms, run-time analysis and object-oriented design
• Masters degree in Computer Science
• 5+ years of software engineering experience
