Job Description:

Our team is looking for a Sr. Network Engineer who wants to work with cutting-edge network technologies on a global scale. The Sr. Network Engineer is an experience technical resource responsible for developing and implementing end to end solutions to complex business networking and communications problems.

Job Responsibilities:

• Participate in network break/fix resolution as part of an on-call rotation
• Work in conjunction with the Information Security team to maintain network security throughout the ITIL service lifecycle.
• Participate in Business Continuity planning and testing.
• Escalate issues to Network Manager in order to ensure the success of an engagement
• Assist development teams to identify and map network requirements for applications
• Design, document, implement and maintain highly available network solutions.
• Successfully manage the entire lifecycle of an implementation engagement from Plan to Close
• Log changes, and prepare proposals and RFC’s for new network expansions, and upgrades
• Assist in building Modern Business Continuity infrastructure
• Troubleshoot complex LAN/WAN infrastructure issued under stressful conditions

Job Requirements:

• Proven ability to solve complex technical challenges under stressful conditions
• Strong understanding of OSPF and BGP routing protocols, VLAN/VXLAN, TCP/IP, and IPSec & GRE
• Ability to analyze and communicate networking requirements and recommendations at the corporate level
• Hands on experience implementing network devices including switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless technologies
• Knowledge of Cisco ACI a plus
• Strong Knowledge of Network Security: Palo Alto Firewalls and Juniper switching
• 7+ years of relevant experience as an IT professional, working hands-on designing, configuring and installing network solutions
• BS Computer Science, Technology Networking preferred but not required
• Ability to manage and balance a shifting workload
• Familiarity with Azure and AWS networking concepts and technologies
• Ability to assess, plan, and implement, and document routing designs
