Job Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coach on site Loss Prevention Professionals
• Provide training and support for on-site LPP staff
• Complete Key Performance Indicator reports to ensure process compliance and quality
• Identify, resolve and or escalate security and personnel risks
• Perform site security duties
• Supervise employee screening and vehicle check point for compliance and quality
• Respond to and follow up on related Loss Prevention Incident Reports (LPIR)
• Ensure all LPP equipment & tools are operational and in good repair
• Work collaboratively with Operations to access customer needs
• Communicate policy and procedure changes with staff
• Assist with maintaining Site Specifics Standing Orders
• Ensure all work areas are clean and all safety issues/concerns are addressed in a timely fashion

Job Requirements:

• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• Recognized security accreditation (CPO, CSS) is an asset
• Ability to deescalate potential violence in the workplace incidents
• Proficient with MS Office
• Knowledge of Trespass to Property Act and Powers of Arrest
• Supervisory/leadership experience is an asset
• This position is mobile and require the candidate to work at multiple locations during the day
• Must be able to work with a high degree of honesty and integrity
• Must be available to work on a rotational shift basis, evenings, weekends and holidays
• Must possess a valid Security Guard License and Ontario Driver’s G Class License
• Excellent problem solving and decision making skills
• 1-3 years security related experience
