Job Responsibilities:

• Create visual designs that effectively communicate seasonal concepts and brand identity, including the design and production of digital marketing and social marketing assets, emails, landing pages, affiliate collateral and other ad hoc briefs.
• To thoroughly check deliverables for consistency, errors and retouching requirements; ensure all creative adheres to style guidelines and articulates brand objectives.
• Produce original, user-focused designs that offer a great user experience while maintaining the house style and brand objectives.
• Liaise with trade, copy writing and photography teams to design from briefs managed by the Creative Project Manager and deliver excellent results on brand and on deadline.
• The junior digital designer must have a basic understanding of HTML and CSS for web pages and emails both for desktop and mobile. Guidance will be provided on the templates we use and the opportunity to learn and improve these sets of skills will be available.

Job Requirements:

• Design and produce layouts, art-working from online templates with an ability to enhance and refresh designs as needed.
• Someone who has a keen eye for typography and a love of pixel perfection!
• Pro-active with an ability to show initiative and generate ideas to constantly improve the quality of the site

Qualification & Experience:

• Strong Adobe Suite skills (Adobe XD, Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects) and basic HTML/CSS
• An understanding of UI/UX principles is advantageous
• Animation skills for video media, social and digital marketing
• Demonstrable understanding of cross browser and SEO considerations
• Strong understanding of typography, colour and layout
• Background in digital design
