Job Description:

The role of Analyst Solution System Integration is responsible for the successful deployment of advanced infrastructure, telecom, Industrial IoT, software development, application, and technology solutions, systems and services. He/she ensures that all business requirements are met by team members and projects, and contributes to the global evolution of CN’s I&T.Clients can be from within I&T or direct lines of business. The Integrator must connect the dots between application, telecom, infrastructure, and business processes. The key is to ensure that the technology delivered is secure, reliable, available, resilient, performant, and aligned with safety standards per business requirements.

Job Responsibilities:

• Transition-to-core operations: update of documentation, systems, training, and presentation
• Implement software tools and/or software infrastructure for the integration, validation and monitoring of train control systems
• Establish Test plans and Tests results for new defined solution
• Contribute to the deployment strategy
• Ensure that solution designed meet all business requirements and adheres to all appropriate CN I&T standards (e.g. Security, Architecture, Project Delivery Methodology, SOX, Telecom, Software Engineering, etc.)
• Conduct lab testing and log results
• Define and maintain engineering and configuration standards
• Support business analysts, functional designers, and architects in the requirements gathering phase
• Create systems integration documentation (including Build Books)
• Have or acquire overall application and project knowledge coupled with a deeper understanding of specific detailed areas of expertise.
• For support issues during project migration or deployment, determine appropriate resolution/solution through root cause analysis and impact analysis
• Apply, and ensure compliance with, all appropriate CN I&T standards (eg. Security, Architecture, Project Delivery Methodology, etc.)

Job Requirements:

• PTC and Rail industry experience
• Demonstrates organizational abilities
• Inspires others with impactful communications and adapts to the audience through speech and writing
• Applies analytical thinking and innovates through problem solving
• Knowledge of Container technologies, virtualization, micro services, and cloud systems
• RTC experience
• Experience developing automation in one or more of the following areas: Network Provisioning, Network Management, Policy Compliancy, Quality Check, Reporting, Testing and Troubleshooting, etc.
• Ensures safe and secure environments
• Proficient professional verbal and written communication skills in both English and French
• Knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux and database technologies (Oracle)
• Possess organizational, time-management and prioritizing skills
• Stays current with industry trends to elevate expertise and work
• Works independently with little supervision

Qualification & Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent
• Good knowledge of data models and APIs communications
• Ability to work on multiple projects in parallel and meet deliverables dates
• Minimum of 3 years of overall relevant work experience
