Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for providing leadership and best practices to on-site Data Center management on security policy and practices
• Maintains an extensive knowledge of complex industry trends, current security issues and security technology, and updates management on risk and threats that could impact the Data Centers
• Responsible for performing annual risk analysis for the Data Center sites, particularly with respect to level of crime, terrorism, workplace violence, and threats from natural and man-made disasters
• Develop and implement security coordinator program, which includes developing a training program for all contract site security coordinators
• Responsible for planning, developing and implementing security plans, security programs such as Emergency Response and Crisis Management, Physical Security, Incident Management and coordinates site investigations with the Global Intelligence and Investigative team
• Liaison with local, state, federal, and international law enforcement agencies for the locations of the Data Centers
• Serves as staff support to security management and assists in conducting investigations of significant threats and/or the loss or misappropriation of assets
• Provides leadership, advice, and guidance to AWS Data Center staff as well as contract security staff in achieving current and long-range strategic program objectives
• Identifies exposures and provides recommendations as well as develops corrective plans that will be provided to their next level management
• Establish and maintain a robust customer relationship with key customers on the Data Center staff to ensure complete understanding of security processes to enable the delivery of viable security responses

Job Requirements:

• Ability to work on-call for escalations during off-hours
• 5+ years creating process improvement procedure
• 7+ years of experience managing contract security and physical security operation programs such as Access Control/Intrusion Detection and CCTV Surveillance systems
• 5+ years Project Management experience
• Valid driver’s license. This position requires driving a personal vehicle between company locations regularly
• Business level English to communicate with global team
• 5+ years managing a team of individual contributors and vendors
