Job Responsibilities:
- Consistently works in a safe, responsible manner and actively participates in safety related programs.
- Completes reports accurately and completely.
- Operates and maintain in-line heaters per SOP.
- Actively participates as a work group team member and maintains a cooperative work relationship with fellow employees.
- Tests, inspects, maintains and troubleshoots RTUs and EGM systems.
- Assists in planning work and contributing budget related information as required, consistent with the annual budgeting process.
- Performs work in compliance with Company policies/procedures as well as external regulatory bodies, such as the Pipeline & Hazardous Materials Administration (PHMSA) and Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) through adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Operation and Maintenance (O&M) Manuals.
- Tests, inspects, maintains and troubleshoots assigned meters, including positive displacement, rotary, Coriolis, turbine, orifice and ultrasonic meters.
- Install small diameter instrument piping and tubing per specification and procurement of materials.
- Tests, inspects, maintains and troubleshoots assigned pressure regulators, control valves and relief valves and other pressure limiting devices.
- Directs other employees to assist in the performance of routine measurement-related activities.
- Writes gas handling procedures.
- Identifies pipe, valves and fittings as to size and wall thickness using mechanical or electronic measurement devices.
- Ability to use test and inspection equipment to verify and/or calibrate various instruments and maintain test equipment certifications per SOP.
- Assure that electrical installations at Company owned or operated measurement facilities meet applicable codes and standards.
- Performs basic tests and inspections per SOP.
- Perform routine maintenance on an odorizer per SOP Determine and set the injection rate of an odorizer. Determine and report odorant usage and odorant concentration in gas.
- Operates and maintains power supply systems.
- Recognizes and reacts to abnormal conditions associated with duties.
- Tests, inspects, maintains and troubleshoots assigned gas analyzers, including gas chromatographs, water vapor analyzers, sulfur and hydrogen sulfide analyzers and oxygen analyzers.
- Performs gas flow and meter calculations.
- Tests, inspects, maintains and troubleshoots pneumatic control devices.

- High school graduate or equivalent education.
- Must possess and maintain a valid Commercial Driver’s License.
- Minimal directly relevant training and experience.
- Must be able and willing to work overtime, weekends, shift, be on call and standby, and travel overnight as required.
- Residency Requirement: Must reside within 30 Miles of the assigned reporting location.
- Associate degree in a relevant technical field or equivalent education and/or experience.
- Able to work independently with little direction.
- Working knowledge of operations used in the maintenance of these facilities.
- Innovative problem solver without compromising SOPs.

- Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written.
